A big “thank you” to everyone who attended
TechNow 2011 on Thursday, October 27!


TechNow, our region’s one-day conference devoted to new and important trends and opportunities in technology for nonprofits, took place on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Robert Morris University’s Sewall Center.

Some highlights from the conference:

  • We learned about the importance of leveraging your website and email campaigns, managing IT change, mobile apps, choosing social media tools and a host of other topics in breakout sessions.  The materials from the sessions can be downloaded here.
  • John Kenyon from John A. Kenyon Consulting gave an inspirational keynote speech on effective usage of websites and email as the basis for all online endeavors.
  • Awesome door prizes were given away, including an iPad, a Kindle Fire and a bunch of great other useful tech gadgets.
  • We had two highly entertaining performances: “The ABCs of Nonprofit Technology” by Jeff Forster and “Websites and Email” by John Kenyon.  Get the links to the videos here.
